William (Joe) Dyke:  

I'm a native of San Diego, grew up in the El Cerrito neighborhood, attended Andrew Jackson Elementary School, Horace Mann Junior High School,and Crawford High School. Studied trumpet with David Greeno and Donald Phillips of the San Diego Symphony and John Clyman of Los Angeles. At home in all genres of music, I've performed with the San Diego Symphony, San Diego Opera, San Diego Chamber Orchestra, La Jolla Playhouse, Starlight Theatre, Old Globe, City Ballet of San Diego, Grand Pacific Band, Young Audiences, Buddy Blue, Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus, and various other Jazz, Latin, R&B, Funk, and Soul ensembles from Ragtime to the Temptations Back-up Band.
